With remote patient monitoring, you take a quick reading at home and it reaches your care team on its own. No Wi-Fi, no typing, no extra trips to the office.
Remote patient monitoring, or RPM, lets your doctor keep an eye on a health condition between visits using simple devices you use at home.
It turns an occasional office reading into an easy daily routine, so small changes are noticed early.
Six simple steps. Only the first one is yours; the rest happen without you doing anything.

Blood pressure, blood sugar or weight at home, in about a minute.
This is the only step you do.

Built-in cellular sends it automatically. No Wi-Fi or typing.

Your reading arrives in e-Vitals and is checked against your doctor's targets.
Clinical staff working with your doctor watch your trends between visits.

A call or message if something needs attention, and a check-in every month.

At your next visit, your doctor has weeks of readings instead of one number.
Request RPM Through My DoctorNo clinical charts to decode, just what's happening with your body and what to do next.

Nice work this week. Your blood pressure is holding steady, so keep up the morning readings.
All devices are FDA-cleared and send readings automatically.

RPM may be a good fit if these sound like you. Your doctor makes the final decision.

Readings need to be sent on at least 2 days in each 30-day period.
Only one doctor or practice can provide your remote monitoring at a time.
RPM can be used alongside other programs, like chronic care management.
Your usual Medicare Part B costs, such as coinsurance and deductible, may apply.
Tell us who your doctor is. We'll reach out to their office and let you know what they decide.
Your health information is encrypted and handled under HIPAA. We share it only with your doctor's office and the people involved in your care. Read our Privacy Policy.
No. Your devices use a built-in cellular connection, so readings send on their own without Wi-Fi. With the e-Vitals app on your phone, you can also see your vitals and message your care team.
Yes. Every reading appears in the e-Vitals app, where you can see today's numbers and your trends over time.
Your doctor sets your schedule. Many patients take one quick reading a day, which takes about a minute.
No. RPM adds support between visits. You'll keep seeing your doctor as usual, and they'll have more information when you do.
Your care team reviews readings and follows the plan your doctor set, which may include calling you or notifying your doctor. RPM is not an emergency service. If you feel unwell or have an emergency, call 911.
Medicare and many Medicaid and private insurance plans cover remote patient monitoring when your doctor orders it. Depending on your plan, you may owe a copay, coinsurance or deductible, just like other medical services.
Yes. You can leave the program whenever you choose. Just let your care team or doctor know.
We'll reach out to your doctor's office and let you know what they decide. If your doctor orders RPM, we'll confirm your coverage and schedule your setup.
Every reading a patient sends has a home on the other end. See how care teams review and act on it.
